During my long flight to and from Japan, I got to see a few movies:
Indiana Jones & ... - I forget the full title. Whatever the new one is. It wasn't that great, obviously.
Sex and the City - enjoyed it, liked the ending.
The Bank Job - loved it! I love those caper-type films. And I really like Saffron Burrows.
What Happens in Vegas - Cute and predictable, enjoyable.
I have also read a few books lately:
The Almost Moon, by Alice Sebold. It was pretty dark, not sure if I liked or disliked it. I did not like it as much as her other books, for sure. I guess I feel a little loyalty, though, since the author went to my high school (even though I didn't know her back then).
The Lady and the Unicorn, by Tracy Chevalier. I liked it, but the ending wasn't so great.
Forgive Me, by Amanda Eyre Ward. Awesome book! Very emotional, raw, but I couldn't put it down. Thanks, Mom!
Currently reading: Drowning Ruth, by Christina Schwarz. I just started it yesterday for my book club. I guess it's good but it's kind of sad - definitely not a light-hearted read by any means.
