I decided it was time to join all the bloggers out there, and what better subject than the renovation of my little cottage up in the mountains. It needs a little work, but it's a good feeling to finally venture into homeownership. I live in New York City, and look forward to enjoying this retreat in the Catskills.

Autumn in Hancock
I must say, the leaves were really breath-taking this season. I don't recall seeing such brilliant reds and oranges the past few years. Some say that means it will be a cold winter...
